OCA - GREATER SEATTLE CHAPTER
According to Seattle Metropolitan Magazine's May 2006 issue the number of foreign born residents in the area reached 15% in the 2000 census. According to the author Kathryn Robinson et al, this is the first time the percentage has been that high in a century. It would surprise nobody that Asian foreign born outnumber all the other ethnic groups in this category.
